twitter.com – I’ve had my new Toyota Prius for a couple of weeks now, and I have to say – I love it! I wanted to drive it for awhile before I attempted to review it for all of you. This was to allow me to make a serious decision as to how I liked the car, and gave me the opportunity to try everything out! There are a lot of gadgets, gizmos and gauges in this little baby. It’s definitely an awesome piece of machinery, and one I’d definitely recommend you take a look at if you’re looking for a new ride. chris.pirillo.com – http

2005 Toyota Echo, Inside View

This is a 2005 Toyota Echo modified for high fuel efficiency. It has the stock 1.5 liter DOHC VVT-i engine, 5 speed manual and it’s rolling on the factory recommended tire size, Hankook Optimo H418 (P175/65 R14) with the OEM steel wheels and plastic hub caps. I once managed to get 512 miles on a single tank of fuel, consuming only 10.587 gallons, that’s an impressive 48.6 MPG. My Lifetime Fuel Economy is 43 MPG, that’s 33% over the EPA Rating. It has a belly pan aeromod made out of corrugated plastic (COROPLAST), a vacuum gauge and a Scan Gauge II It also has a modified cruise control that maintains a constant load, instead of speed, to keep the MPG steady. I also changed the oil viscosity to 10W-30 and increased the tire pressure to 40 PSI. You can find more info at the Ecomodder forum.

SOLAR Hybrid TOYOTA Prius

www.solarelectricalvehicles.com Welcome to Solar Electrical Vehicles. Founded in mid 2005, SEV was created to develop a true solar charging system for Hybrid Electric Vehicles that provides increased electric driving range and improved fuel economy. Founded by Greg Johanson, with over 20 years of experience in the solar electric vehicle industry, SEV is the sister company to the oldest and largest systems integrator of solar power systems in Southern California, Solar Electrical Systems. The Solar Electric Vehicle system was designed and engineered as an easy to install (2 to 3 hours) integrated accessory system with a custom molded low profile solar module, supplemental battery pack and a proven charge controlling system. The SEV system generates energy from sunlight and converts this energy to high voltage which is utilized to charge the supplemental battery and the Hybrid Vehicle (HV) battery pack. This allows the Hybrid Vehicle to operate for extended driving range in the electric mode With the SEV solar system, the Toyota Prius can operate up to 20 miles per day in electric mode thus improving fuel economy by up to 29% (depending on driving habits and conditions).

Volkswagen Tiguan v Honda CR-V v Toyota RAV4

CHECK OUT THE CUTE-UTE SMACKDOWN: www.edmunds.com We get it already — fuel prices suck. And while we pity the poor sod who bought a new full-size SUV a few years ago and is now stuck with a fuel bill that has doubled and a vehicle whose residual value makes manure futures look appealing, everyone wants solutions. Sympathy won’t heal a hemorrhaging wallet. So what’s a utility-lovin’ small family to do? Downsize. Full-size SUVs provide unmatched capability but their thirst may make you reassess your needs. Think compact utility vehicle. Think crossover. This doesn’t mean you have to downsize your expectations, though. The three compact SUVs we’ve assembled here — the brand-new 2009 Volkswagen Tiguan and the 2008 Honda CR-V and 2008 Toyota RAV4 — are based on car platforms, a strategy that helps create an efficient utilization of interior space in a relatively lightweight, fuel-efficient package. Simply put, you can pack more stuff inside these compact SUVs than you might think. And being car-based, these compact crossovers offer easier entry and exit and better driving maneuverability than truck-based ones, something you really appreciate when you’re running errands around town. Of course, car-based SUVs lack the rough-road capability of their bigger brethren, and you can forget about serious towing. For everyday use, though, a compact ute just makes more sense. We tested a 2008 Honda CR-V AWD EX-L with navigation, a 2008 Toyota RAV4 4×4 Limited and a 2009 Volkswagen Tiguan

1986 Toyota Sunrader 21′ RV

1986 Toyota Sunrader RV I bought this RV two and half years ago. I’m the third owner. It has 112000 miles on it. I put about 10k miles after i bought it (includes drive across US and Mexico). I have all books, receipt from day one for this nice RV. Powered by the legendary Toyota 22RE EFI fuel injected engine, on a true one-ton chassis, it gets awesome gas mileage and, with regular maintenance, is basically trouble free. This economical, yet roomy, motor coach is a great way to go. The Toyota has plenty of power to pass and pull the hills and cruises nicely on the highway at 65 mph. 1.clean title,no accidents. 2.22RE engine with manual transmission.(will run forever) 3.one pice fiber glass body.(no leaks) 4.everything works in the RV. 5.1 ton rear axle.(6 lugs) 6.three way fridge. 7.propane stove and four burner. 8.air adjustable rear air bag suspension. 9.Dual Batteries w/Automatic Charger (and Solar Panel on roof). 10.Water heater. 11.Upgrade all position lights to LED. 12.Roof AC is very cold.(front cabin has fan and heater only) price: $7200. I spend lots of money and time for this RV, everything is ready for this RV to take long trips. I’m selling it because i never have time to use it. E-Mail me if you have any questions. thanks. Don’t forget we are talking about a 23 years old RV here, it’s in good shape for it’s age. smoke check ready. Don’t expect a $7200 RV for a $72000 RV condition. If you wanna something nicer, go get a new RV.
