Availability of Low Gas Prices in the United States & Canada May be Based on Fuel Efficient Car Kit Known as Water4gas
June 23, 2010 by admin
As a former energy trader turned lifestyle coach, I can with 100% certainty state the the fluctuations of rising and falling gasoline prices are affected as much by market makers, hedge funds, and traders as they are by world events.
In my practice, I spend half my time educating clients on having a quality of life between work, play, and consumer consumption, and the other half, being a human guinea pig for everything from the newest cost-efficient ways to minimize your energy bills to trying exotic herbs from the Amazon in elixirs that have yet to hit the market.
Even though I failed organic chemistry (and physics) for that matter in high school, my comprehension of alternative fuel and alternative energy sources in today’s economy is based on trial by error. So I recently decided to order the much talked about Water4Gas kit to see if the authors were smoking some funny stuff or if with the help of my engineer friend who works at Fermilab in Batavia, IL, we can decipher whats real and what isn’t.
Water4Gas shows you how to quickly create a device that splits water on board a vehicle. It then uses the oxygen and hydrogen that results from this splitting to boost the efficiency of the gasoline combustion, thus leading to a more fuel efficient vehicle. Contrary to what some may think, the device you create by using the instruction manual does not make the car run on 100% water; rather, what it does is it saves you money by improving efficiency in the vehicle.
The beautiful thing about Water4Gas is how simple it truly is. All you do is follow the instructions to create a simple device. This device is placed under the hood and is filled with distilled water and a touch of baking soda. The device then gets electricity and vacuum from the engine, which allows it to produce HHO gas. This gas is then fed to the engine’s intake or carburettor, which helps with the gas combustion, thereby improving efficiency.
Now, the key here is testing this in such a way where I don’t feel my engine will explode. My engineer friend suggested that any negative side effects from creating this device wont have any ill effects on my car.
Well, I have decided to try this on one of my secondary vehicles, a 2003 Infiniti G35 and my engineer friend indicated that was able to successfully set this up in his 2007 Jeep Cherokee.
I have a feeling that sooner or later I will be recommending this to all my clients as an efficient way to save on fuel consumption and being part of the http://betterthan-perfect.blogspot.com/ conscious lifestyle community that will help you have a clearer understanding of having the most optimum balance and quality of life.

Obama allows states to advance standards for fuel efficiency. Discuss?
May 25, 2010 by admin

President Obama will announce today that 14 states will be able to create mandates for fuel efficiency that exceed the current mandates established by the federal government.
The EPA will grant the waiver issued by the 14 states, a waiver that was denied by Bush and was criticized by a number of car companies.
What’s your stance on the issue? Do you agree or disagree with President Obama to allow states to increase mandates for fuel efficient vehicles on their own?
Why did the Bush Administration go to court to block 16 states from enacting higher fuel-efficiency requiremen

As many of you remember, in late 2007 the federal EPA blocked a request by 16 states (led by California) to have higher fuel-efficiency requirements for cars and trucks. At that time, I asked a question on here and most people sided with the Bush Administration. What I am wondering now is has anyone changed their mind due to the gas prices, or do you still believe that this denial was justified?
PS The EPA has not backed down. This issue is still in court.
Transition to hydrogen-based transportation in China: Lessons learned from alternative fuel vehicle programs in the United States and China

Product Description
This digital document is a journal article from Energy Policy, published by Elsevier in 2006. The article is delivered in HTML format and is available in your Amazon.com Media Library immediately after purchase. You can view it with any web browser.
Description:
This paper examines the experience of existing alternative fuel vehicle (AFV) programs in the US and China to provide insights into appropriate strategies for developing hydrogen vehicles and infrastructure in China. Although an increasing number of AFVs have been deployed in recent years, various factors have limited this progress, such as large sunk investments in conventional technologies, limited networks of refueling stations, the typically higher cost of AFVs, and the relatively low price of oil. Given these barriers, and additional barriers specific to hydrogen, a transition to hydrogen will be a slow process, and must be supported by both near- and long-term policies that have clear and measurable goals that take hydrogen beyond fleet applications into broader vehicle markets. Because a transition to hydrogen vehicles will not occur quickly, it is necessary for the government to have consistent and integrated transportation policies combining short- and long-term goals. These policies should draw upon resources from both governments and multinational companies to provide incentives for vehicle purchases, promote investment in infrastructure, and disseminate information to raise public awareness. Multinationals may find China to be an ideal testing ground for innovative hydrogen vehicles with appropriate incentive policies and programs.
