I try to look it up on the web, but I keep on finding long long essays and reports with big words. Can someone tell me the cost of hydrogen fuel per gallon, the MPG of hydrogen fuel, where you can fill up your car, estimates of prices/fill-up locations in the future, and if this is just a west coast thing and people on the east coast (like me) will ever be able to use a hydrogen car.

OK in gear, engine running, red light, roughly 550 to 600 rpms (4 spd auto transmission w/overdrive). 99% of the time you can’t even feel the engine running. Then, the occasional blip, rough idle, then it’s fine again. 02 sensor gone? The last scan codes indicated “random cylinder misfire” however I’ve got all new plugs, new cap & rotor, new distributor shaft, air filter, fuel filter, ignition wires and I run high-octane, always. I have the injectors professionally cleaned and have run SeaFoam through about 6 times now. HELP! any ideas??? Thanks

Can someone with a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering work on Fuel Cell cars?

Would they be a able to contribute to the design of
Fuel efficient engines for large automobile manufacturers?
Maybe not so much the chemistry aspect of it but the
design of hydrogen fuel cells and the other crucial systems involved in
a car such as the FCX etc.

Because I know a mechanical engineer would work on the more tangible parts of a car
but what about combustion, hydrogen fuels, and electric generators etc.
Would they need a degree in chemistry? or nuclear engineering
in order to work on the actual subject of fuel efficiency?

Can someone please tell me how I can make my 1992 Toyota Camry XLE V6 more fuel efficient?

How can someone who is not will to sacrifice much be “greener”?

I am not willing to give up my cars, daily driver is a car with a supercharged V8 engine, the other vehicle is a V8 full sized SUV that is mainly used to tow stuff)

I am not willing to install low-flow fixtures. I like a powerful commode and a shower head that will drench you in 3 seconds flat.

I will not change my diet. Humans did not work themselves up to the top of the food chain to eat salad.

I will not sacrifice capability of any product (appliances, cleaning solutions, electronics, etc.) in exchange for eco-friendliness.

I will not live in a smaller house or apartment, I like having a lawn, a garage, and an in-ground pool.

I am unwilling to change the thermostat in my house. It stays at 70 degrees year-round.

Please someone tell me how to improve my gas mileage

I sound kind of desperate don’t I. Well with the prices like they are I am hurting. I drive round trip 142 miles per day. Google told me what to do after doing searches for many mileage saving terms such as ways to improve my gas mileage, save money on gas and save gas.

There were so many ideas that after a while I realized I had all the answers and some. I found so many ways to improve my gas mileage that I now get 32% more mileage per gallon.

With all this information I decided to put up a website that summarizes all the ways to improve my gas mileage. If you have the same problem I think you will find the site a great resource.

The site is  http://save-gas-tips-ideas-products.com  and you will find basic tips and the newest products available to improve my gas mileage.

Starting out the quickest way is to get your car ready. That means new air filter(this is huge), fill tires to the correct pressure, use synthetic oil(better performance), get the junk out of your trunk(extra weight cost you 1% per 100lbs) and use a system cleaner especially for the fuel injectors.

Now the car is ready to improve my gas mileage so start by changing your driving habits. Hypermiling is the new term and basically it is making less use of the brake and more planning ahead which means coasting rather then braking to improve my gas mileage. You will find much more on Hypermiling at the site. If you are going to idle 60 seconds then turn off the engine. Under 40mph do not use the air conditioning when possible. Over 40mph the drag from the open windows kind of equals out with the air conditioning.

These are just a few of the tips and ideas. The website also has many products which will improve my gas mileage so go take a look.

Good luck in your quest to improve my gas mileage.
