To complete this How-To you will need: A trash can Recycling bins String Step 1: Check laws Check the local laws regarding recycling in your town. Not all communities recycle the same things. Step 2: Rinse Rinse glass bottles, plastic containers, and aluminum and tin cans. Labels do not have to be removed. Recycle the plastic caps of water and soda bottles, but toss the ones from laundry detergent and food containers. Tip: If you’re confused about whether a plastic item can be recycled, look for its resin identification code — a triangle with a number inside. Products marked “1″ and “2″ are recyclable. Don’t recycle unmarked plastic containers. Step 3: Separate In general, containers that held food, beverages, household cleaners, or personal care products like shampoo and mouthwash are all recyclable. How do recycling plants separate different types of plastics?

Better yet, how do recycling plants separate the different materials. I know that if you were to mix two different types of plastics, that they would not be able to be re-used(even though I heard of a new technology where someone was able to mix two different types of plastics to form a super strong one). How do they separate plastics 1-5 and number 7? Also, how do they separate the adhesives and other materials on recyclable products like glass and plastic bottles?

recycling is not enforced in my municipality. How do I sort plastic bags for recycling? Not all bags come with the recycle logo with number.

If this could be done could it be used as a fuel for automobiles today?
Would cost to do this be to much to make it worth while?

I’m married to a Cuban citizen who is triying to get his status fix as well, We have been waiting for 4 years. None of us has a green car. We separated (not divorce) 6 months ago. I have another interview in 20 days. What happens if you separate before you get the green car?. Cubans don’t get “temporary cars”. Please any suggestions are welcome.
