1967 Triumph Spitfire EV Conversion – Student Project

Mechanical Engineering Students from the University of Colorado Denver spent the Summer of 2009 converting a broken down 1967 Triumph Spitfire into a 100% Electric Vehicle. Our EV conversion can reach a top speed of 75 MPH and has a maximum range of 40 miles (of average city driving) all with an overnight charge (8-10 hours) on a standard 110 Volt outlet.
