The ever increasing pollution is a great threat to the lifestyle of humans as well as animals. These days various office building, homes, towns and cities are using the green energy in order to make energy more efficient and safer. Many countries are now conducting projects and researches with the help of which they can cut down green house gases to prevent the environment from its harmful effects.
Harmful gases which are present in the environment are also responsible for Ozone depletion. It is now time to take some measures through which we can stop the environment from becoming polluted and poisonous. Researches and tests that are being carried out have proved that chicken manure can actually help us to fight pollution and prevent ozone depletion.
In this article, I would mainly want to provide you some important information on chicken manure and “Biochar”.
1. Great benefits of Biochar
Chicken manure is a beneficial product that can really help us to fight against the green house gases. A machine has been invented by scientists that convert the chicken manure into a substance which is known as Biochar. This substance is a very good fertilizer and it can also trap harmful gases which are responsible for the depletion of the ozone layer. It can efficiently trap carbon which can really be harmful for our environment.
2. Use of large machines
This is an economically friendly technology that comes with great benefits. In order to manufacture Biochar you need big machines that can burn the chicken waste to convert it into the final product. Such machines are really very costly but with the help of government funding and grants, chicken framers can now install them in their farms.
3. The machine can also be used for heating purposes
The machine not only manufactures Biochar but is can also be used for heating purpose. It is used by farmers to heat up the chicken coops. This technology is very beneficial for the framers as it helps them to earn extra profits.
4. Other materials used to produce Biochar
It has been found out that other materials like switch grass and wood can also be used for manufacturing Biochar. The waste from wood, grass and chicken is burned very slowly at a low temperature. This burning of chicken manure traps the carbon and prevents it from escaping into the atmosphere.
The future of this technology is very bright that is why the government must assist farmers so that they can install more machines in the farms to produce Biochar.
