Article Source: http://www.articlesbase.com/ – The Nissan Cube Has Been In Production Since 1998
The Nissan Cube has been in production since 1998. However, it has only reached popularity in recent years. Nissan has recently increased advertisement efforts on the cube after realizing that Japanese culture was on the rise in America. The Cube is now one of Nissan’s best-selling vehicles. Nissan sold over 40,000 vehicles in 2009.
The first engine available in the Cube is the 1.5L four cylinder. This engine produces around 120 horsepower and 105 ft lbs of torque. This engine is a carryover from the Nissan MR family. It gets around 34 miles per gallon while being driven on the highway and 27 miles per gallon while being driven in the city. This engine is the most common engine available in the Cube. Nissan made a diesel version of this engine exclusively for sale in the United Kingdom. There are currently no plans to bring the diesel version of the engine into the United States.
The next engine in our list is the 1.8L four cylinder. This engine is available in the 1.8 Cube. This model of cube features more rounded edges and updated styling. The engine produces around 140 horsepower and 120 ft lbs of torque. A user of this engine can expect mileage numbers around 30 miles per gallon the highway and 22 miles per gallon in the city.
Both engines available in the Cube feature Nissan’s proprietary CVT transmission. CVT stands for Controlled Valve Timing and allows the valving of the transmission to vary based on certain road conditions. This type of transmission allows for improved fuel economy and power.
Nissan has made an extremely interesting little car with the Cube. Although it has received some bad reviews, the Cube has found its place in the heart of Americans and the Japanese. It is a car that cannot be ignored.

Nissan Versa Review – Kelley Blue Book
October 30, 2010 by admin
FOR PRICING & SPECS ON THIS CAR VISIT: www.kbb.com Nissan Versa. With gas prices fluctuating, more people are considering smaller, fuel-efficient cars but do not want to sacrifice the creature comforts they have come to depend on. Nissans response to this growing demand is the new Versa. It offers compact-car affordability and gas mileage while providing the comfort and quality of a mid-size sedan. Welcome to Kelley Blue Books Review of the Nissan Versa. Entry-level cars have a reputation for being meagerly equipped and cramped. The Nissan Versa challenges that reputation with uncharacteristic safety, technology and performance features and a generous helping of cabin space. The Versa is available in hatchback and sedan forms, in basic S and better-equipped SL trims. Several packages are also available, offering features almost never found in this segment. Both the sporty hatchback and practical sedan deliver unprecedented legroom and options at a price that wont break the bank. For more new car reviews, interviews and automotive news visit www.kbb.com today.
