The FCHV features a cruising distance of 466 miles on one charge, over double compared to the 205 miles of the previous version, has a maximum speed of 96 Mph, and weighs 4136 pounds. Toyota have improved the fuel efficiency of their fuel cell power-train by refining the design of their stack and improving the control software for the stack and the battery charging system. The previous 5000 psi hydrogen tanks have also been replaced by new 10000 psi tanks allowing more hydrogen to be stored on board. Not only is toyota making steady progress in research and development relating to cruising distance, low-temperature starts, durability and reduced costs, they are also currently working in conjunction with the japanese government and energy companies to develop the supply infrastructure to support this technology. The Toyota Fuel Cell Hybrid Vehicle will be available for a test drive at this years Tokyo Motor Show, to be held in October.

2009 Ninja 650R Review @1200 miles

I share some thoughts of the bike after 1200 miles of riding. Problems or issues with the bike. 1. Mirror vibration above 40 makes it impossible to see objects/vehicles behind clearly ( did some looking around and part of the shake is the air and the majority of the shake is the engine. When the the clutch is pulled in the mirrors do become usable…eh but you loose speed and that’s just not fun.) 2.License plate bracket is not esthetically pleasing 3. Handle bars could be lower to give a more aggressive position Things i like about the bike- 1. 45 miles per gallon with the way i ride 2. Front turn signals are flush with the body 3. Screen has great visibility at all times. 4. Great power for a first street bike.
