That’s code for “Too Weird For Even Boulder.” Yeah, baby. The Frozen Dead Guy. Hippies on steroids (natural organic ones, to be sure). My true love was a post-hippie-age hippie, only from the Midwest, so …

City of Sydneys second annual Live Green was a big success, attracting a record crowd of up to 20000 people who wanted to discover how they can make a difference and reduce their environmental impact. The sun shone for the event which featured free seminars, workshops, great local music as well as a plenty of activities and entertainment for children. The City of Sydney-commissioned Green House built specifically for this years Live Green was packed throughout the day with people keen to see environmentally responsible ways of setting up or renovating a home including energy and water efficiency, waste reduction and technologies such as solar heating. The kitchen marquee also proved popular with Sydneys top chefs including Live Green Ambassador Kylie Kwong whipping up a delicious range of seasonal, local and organic foods. In the waste area people showed they were keen to grab a slice of history and get in the spirit of reducing, reusing and recycling by picking up free bags made of reused City of Sydney banners. The festival also had more than 90 stalls of organic and locally grown food, sustainable products, fashion and services.
