Why are so many people buying into the Global Warming scam, when those forcing it on us are just getting rich.

Those forcing us to become “Green” are flying in fuel gobbling private jets and living in luxury. Al Gore is making 100s of millions of dollars scamming people into paying for their eco-sins. All the while the solutions that we are supposed to buy into, such as ethanol and silly CFLs and hybrid cars, do more dammage to the environment than the products that they replace. The only thing that comes from going Green seems to be that we all get to pay more money for everything in our lives. We all want a clean environment, but this is eco-socializm. We should be just as miserable as people in third world countries.
Is global warming just a clever way to raise taxes?

I, personally do not believe in the whole ‘Global Warming’ fiasco. I think that governments and world leaders are clever and sneaky enough to create such a theory that climate change is due to humans. In my geography lesson today, I learnt that humans only emit 6.5 gigatonnes of C02 each year. Compare that to the 150 gigatonnes that is created by other animals and plants and it seems that humans aren’t actually contributing that much. Even dying leaves emit even more!
Scientists say that temperatures have risen since the industrial revolution. Maybe it’s actually since the agricultural revolution. Since humans are breeding more animals and growing more vegetation for farming, more CO2 is being released.
I don’t at all believe that just by walking to school instead of getting a lift in the car and switching off lights when not in use will help to save the planet. I still try and do my bit for the environment though by walking a 3 mile round trip every school day and switch off all my unused electrical items.
I do agree that there is, apparently, scientific proof that the temperatures have risen in recent centuries. But, these results could be altered or just completely made up before they are released to the public.
I have watched ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ and found that quite interesting. But, I also found that, as an audience, I was being bombarded with theories and not facts. Yes, sea levels are rising. Well, apparently. Maybe ‘they’ just measured when the tide was coming in. How convenient.
I understand all the theories and see where they might stem from. But, I think that maybe having to PAY ‘green taxes’ and being pressured every day by the media and people around us to ‘reduce our carbon footprint’ by BUYING things and SPENDING money on eco-friendly things is just a clever way to get everyone on Earth panicking (and therefore possibly dying of paranoia, consequently leaving all their inheritance money to the government) and spending money on things which don’t actually help the environment at all. If I IS human activity contributing to Global Warming as everyone’s all hyped on, then maybe it’s not individuals who have to do something about it, but the big businesses that deal in the fossil fuels that we are using up that have to stop counting their money and stop being so greedy.
If global warming IS genuine, the planet will run out of resources and millions will die as a result of flooding, hurricanes and homelessness. Its just up to us to decide what generation, down the line, has to suffer with it.
Why Just Go Green?

It’s in vogue for advertisers to tout their green initiatives from how much paper they’ve saved through online billing and paying systems to recycling, reusing, and replenishing valuable resources.
And, certainly I-ShopTheWorld does not question the integrity of this need to preserve the environment.
We are “green” in that context, for sure, being an online shopping service, with an online catalog as opposed to a printed one. Our customers save gas by not having to get in their cars and drive someplace to shop. We all save paper through our online payment system. Even our accounting is online. We shop for environmentally friendly products to offer you and hope to add to that overall product category in the near future.
But, we beg to suggest that while green is a wonderful color, there are many other colors in nature that deserve preservation and honor. The blue of the sky with those puffy white clouds and their reflection in the waters of our oceans, lakes, and streams. The awesome browns, oranges, and yellows of fall foliage that signify life getting ready to take a rest so it can revive itself with the burst of those brilliant spring pastels. The holiday colors that enable us to recognize the symbols we associate with fun times, family, and friends.
Those are colors we do not want to overlook. We need the whole visual perspective to really appreciate the life around us. We need all aspects of how that color is seen. We need the glint of the sun bouncing off of a piece of silver jewelry, like unique the SilverLily jewelry you get from I-ShopTheWorld. We need the warm brown hues of a delicious cake baked just right, like our Tortuga Rum Cakes. We need the beautiful colors of silk, like our classic Thai silk clothing.
We may not start a campaign to put all colors on equal footing with green, but we do want to make you aware that you should not get so carried away being green that you overlook all of the other colors in the universe and forget to stop and appreciate the beauty of a piece of teak furniture or a flower in full bloom (we can sell you’re a silk orchid so that color is preserved for a very long time).
And, lest we be misunderstood, we do like green. We like the eco-greens that nature creates in grasses, leaves, and chameleons. We appreciate the greens that humans have devised for plastic recycling bins, bottles, and baubles. We totally enjoy the greens of money, a must for shoppers at I-ShopTheWorld.
We just wanted to let you, our visitors, know that you can relax and shop online and not obsess about whether or not you are doing good for the world by going green. So, if you are feeling blue or are red-in-the-face at that store in the mall, pay us a visit. Our products come in a variety of colors; many of them very mood enhancing. Look through our catalog, picture yourself glowing in the light of day while unpacking a box with something you’ve admired and given to yourself.
If you happen to be a “greenhorn” to online shopping, just give us a green light ’cause we are here to help you.

A PUTTING GREEN, A DRIVING RANGE, OR JUST A WELL TRIMMED BACK YARD?

Synthetic grass is making quite an impression across America these days. You only need to Google reports on the number of high schools and colleges that are installing artificial turfs on their football and baseball fields to know that the stuff is pretty popular. Of course, the reason it’s popular is primarily to do with cost. Artificial turf is much more affordable than natural grass, not only when it comes to installation, but, perhaps even more importantly, when it comes to maintenance and use.
Imagine, if you will, a team of burly football players out practicing on a chill fall morning. They’re all thundering about on the grass, slipping and sliding about, kicking up the grass as they kick up the ball, tackle, and the like. They have spiked shoes that churn up the grass.
Then there are the golfers on the 18-hole course on a Sunday morning. They may be enjoying a friendly game, but they’re still taking swipe after swipe at the ground, hacking up the grass and the sand with their seven irons. Even the green is under attack with a steady onslaught of balls smashing down from 200 yards away.
Natural grass needs a lot of work to stay trim and fresh. Particularly on sports fields (football fields, baseball fields, tennis courses, and golf courses to name but a few), it gets pretty bruised up without regular work. It needs watering, mowing, trimming. Someone also needs to treat it with pesticides and then (and they apparently make a tradition of this in polo) someone needs to put the tufts of grass back into place.
Our point, though, is that grass has to put up with a lot of wear and tear if it is going to be used for the surface of a sports field. Not only does it not survive the usage very well, it actually requires a lot of time, money, and energy when used as the basis for a sporting activity.
If you think about it, the high maintenance required for grass is one of the reasons many people don’t use their backyards all that often. It’s also one of the reasons why most golfing enthusiasts don’t have a mini-putting green in their backyard. It’s at least the reason why the most dedicated golfers don’t find themselves outside on a regular basis, practicing their swing or their putting. Natural grass just doesn’t hold up.
Artificial grass, on the other hand, is not only durable, it is easy to maintain and easy to install. As more and more people are discovering, artificial grass works wonders as a surface for sports grounds. Not only does it survive with minimal maintenance for years (sometimes as many as fifteen years, even with heavy use), it has also been shown to reduce injuries and facilitate more regular practice and game play since it can be used in all weathers (it doesn’t get flooded or frozen provided the right drainage system is in place).
At National Greens, we specialize in providing our clients with a whole range of turf types for all sorts of types of projects. We specialize in providing turf for golf courses, putting greens, and driving ranges, however, and we’ve also taken to helping golf enthusiasts install miniature putting greens in their homes and back yards at extremely competitive prices.
Installation takes less than thirty minutes, in some cases, and you can almost always begin enjoying your artificial turf right away, which is not the case for natural grass. You don’t have to worry about hiring a gardener to maintain your artificial turf and you have no need to worry about how you’re going to manage to store up water to keep your grass hydrated through the summer (with artificial grass, you don’t have to contribute to the summer water shortage in your area since the grass doesn’t need watering at all).
You can have your very own putting green installed in your backyard or take the time to work on your golf swing even on a regular lawn. You won’t have to worry about hacking the lawn to bits when you’re swinging your club or even when you’re playing football with your friends.
Your kids will be perfectly safe as well, thanks to the soft, durable surface underneath artificial grass textures. They can bound about as much as they like and you won’t have to worry about them falling and hurting themselves.
Whatever your project, National Greens offers a whole range of turf types, you’ll see new possibilities opening up for you.
