With less than two months to go before Christmas its time to start thinking about shopping for gifts for everybody. Buying eco-friendly products is a great idea at Christmas as it helps encourage others to think about the environment too. However, shopping for eco-friendly products can be difficult.
The best way to look for eco-friendly gifts for people is to first think about the types of gifts, regardless of the eco value, that the person would like. When you have something in mind you can then look to see if there are any eco-friendly varieties or alternatives.
Clothing makes a great gift for nearly everybody and its fortunate that there plenty of great eco friendly clothing alternatives.
Socks are a popular Christmas gift and bamboo socks are perhaps even better than their cotton alternatives. Not only is bamboo sustainable and eco-friendly, it is a material that allows air to circulate throughout it and has natural anti-bacterial properties.
Because of these properties bamboo makes great active wear too. Bamboo yoga wear is great for many types of aerobic sports and there are shorts, t-shirts and even bamboo towels that make great gifts.
Gadgets are a great gift at Christmas time and there are many eco-friendly gadgets to suit almost anybody. From dynamo razors, that require no batteries; wind up radios, many of which can recharge mobile phones, to a whole host of other gadgets and gizmos.
And even if can’t find the right eco-friendly gadget you can always look to a solar powered charger. These come in a wide range and can charge everything, from mobile phones to laptops.
Natural Gifts
Another good idea for Christmas gifts are natural items. Natural scented candles make nice gifts as do all natural bath sets that contain all the usual smellies and bath salts you would expect only mad from 100% natural ingredients.

Why Moving Companies Are Not Just A Waste Of Time
Most people move at least once in their lifetimes. When they do, they will usually look at the cost of using a moving company and cringe. The next idea they usually have is to call up as many friends and family members as they can muster, many with bakkies and van or small trucks and beg them to help with the move. Sometimes you are lucky enough to have enough consenting people to make this worthwhile, but that is not always the case.

I’ve seen many possible green energy ideas and many of them do work, in this article i will show you the most popular and realiable green energy ideas.
Wind energy
Wind energy is basically turning kenetic energy of wind into electrical energy for home and industrial usage, My vote is its not realiable because wind can stop, slow down, and reverse direction. also its not realiable in locations with very little wind.
Solar energy
Solar energy is just where a solar panel turns light energy from the sun into electrical energy. This system is also not realiable because a home solar pannel can cost around $65,000 for one pannel barly producing 30 volts.
Magniwork energy
Magniwork works because you have a disk with magnets on the edge of it where the poles of the magnets alternate where one magnet has its north pole on the outermost part and the magnet next to it has its south pole on the outermost part, when you put a very strong magnet up to the disk it begins to rotate at around 2,000 rpm it may only produce a couple volts but if you run the electricity through a couple step-up transformers that should multiply the voltage to around 50,000 volts if used correctly and if you sell that electricity to the electric company you can get $5 an hour, to sell the electricity back to the grid Just plug it into a wall socket, and you’ll get a check at the end of the month.
any comments or questions contact me at slaytojl5@gmail.com and i’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Carbon offsets are most frequently used by companies or institutions to trim down their carbon footprint without actually polluting less. Most offsets engross renewable energy. By using its money to create renewable energy, that province thereby offsets its own carbon use.

Looking to recover deleted files?
Have you ever been in the situation of recovering deleted files? Every time a file is saved on your PC, it is recorded on your hard drive as digital information. The information is stored in your pc in the format of zeros and ones. When you erase a file, the digital information that makes it up, the code on your hard drive, is not deleted. When the file is deleted, you can’t see it, access it, or even know that it’s there. But all the binary code that makes it remains on the hard drive.

Six Ideas to Green up Dad and His Recent Grad

By Dan Marcus & Ralph Santoni
EnviroCitizen.org , as one of the most comprehensive sites on the internet for those who choose a green, eco-friendly lifestyle, has a vast selection of green gifts for every Dad and Grad this spring. EnviroCitizen boasts an expansive selection of eco-friendly products as well as a tremendous informational and educational resource base. Their articles library contains well over 1000 custom written, unique, and informative articles on every topic imaginable with respect to green and eco-friendly lifestyles. In addition, EnviroCitizen.org has a robust Education Center, a well-trafficked Forum, and a terrific Consultant, Contractor and Provider Finder.
Here are ideas from just 6 different areas of the EnviroCitizen.org site:
1. Personal Care:
It’s no secret that men care just as much about personal grooming than women do. Many men are similarly interested in non-toxic, natural ingredients within personal care items as well as their environmental impact. EnviroCitizen.org has a vast selection of these products which allow men to become eco-friendly, with style.
EnviroCitizen.org offers a Burt’s Bees Men’s Natural Grooming kit that makes a wonderful gift for the environmentally sensitive Dad or Grad in your life. This grooming kit contains non-toxic sunflower oil, a nutritious substance for the body and the skin.
EnviroCitizen.org also offers the Burt’s Bees Natural Skin Care for Men Travel Kit for the recent graduate on the go or the traveling dad. It contains natural Cologne, After Shave, Shave Cream, Bar Soap, Body Wash and Lip Balm.
EnviroCitizen.org also provides valuable information on natural male grooming. For example, in the vast library of articles, you may be interested in one titled: Eco-Friendly Personal Care Products for Men.
2. Gardening:
EnviroCitizen.org offers the perfect green tools for the Dad that loves to maintain an attractive and eco-friendly garden or yard.
The Ground Flush Wheelbarrow, by Urban Garden Center, is a stylish, lighter, and even more portable substitute to the traditional bulky wheelbarrow.
Also available is a 3-in-1 Garden Spray Fungi-insecti-mitacide. This natural solution with fungicide, insecticide, and mitacide, is perfectly designed to kill pests and create an environment where damaging fungi cannot live.
Envirocitizen.org also shares some key tips for people who want to try composting. The green website says that by adding worms to compost, the decomposition process actually quickens and becomes more environmentally beneficial and sustainable. Check out their article An Eco-Friendly Alternative to Composting: Wormers for more tips and suggestions to become a master of eco-friendly gardening.
3. Gadgets:
Both Dads and Grads are constantly searching for the latest technologically advanced gadgets. EnviroCitizen.org offers a plethora of green gadgets and innovations in solar technology to satisfy those needs.
Products like Power Film’s Rollable Solar Chargers are flexible solar panels made of silicon, a natural resource in abundant supply. These chargers are a smart, green way to save electricity when charging electronic devices.
For the green home or dorm room, EnviroCitizen.org also offers the Fagor 12? Portable Induction Cooktop, which utilizes 90% of the energy produced compared to 50% used by other cooking methods. Considered one the most eco-friendly products for its energy-efficiency, induction stoves cook faster than gas or electric cooktops.
EnviroCitizen.org has a passionate and dedicated community on its forum that constantly updates members on the latest technology, like new solar cells that can capture sunlight on cloudy days. Visit the EnviroCitizen.org forum for answers and information on a wide variety of green living topics like conservation, energy-efficiency, and sustainability.
4. Recreation:
When Grads take a break from their hectic schedules, EnviroCitizen.org suggests that Grads join their Dads for some green recreation time.
The ‘Nomad’ Bicycle Trunk Bag by Eclipse Solar Gear is a great way to make bicycling even greener. The specially designed, built-in solar panel can charge cell phones or extra batteries while riding using the renewable energy of the sun.
For camping or hiking experiences, EnviroCitizen.org sells the Freeplay Companion AM/FM Radio Solar Charger Flashlight. This gadget promises to always have effective radio quality, a flashlight and a solar energy cell phone charger.
When many Dads think of recreation, they think of golf. EnviroCitizen.org says that it’s easy to choose a local eco-friendly golf course that’s been designed using sustainable techniques. Visit the EnviroCitizen.org articles library to read the article: Choosing a Green Golf Course for more information.
5. For the Office:
Both Dads and Grads seem to be constantly working, so EnviroCitizen.org has a few ideas to make work more eco-friendly.
EnviroCitizen.org offers a 36″ Student Desk + Hutch designed specifically to offer maximum storage space in the least possible area. Like many of the website’s offerings, this desk is a greener alternative to traditional furniture.
Hopefully the Grads don’t stay up too late, but when they do, the EasyEye Desk Lamp with Ionizer can help them get the job done. This Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) is equivalent to an ordinary 150 watt bulb and lasts 5 times longer, making this light energy-efficient.
Among the copious amount of environmental articles, one titled Green Office Supplies gives perfect examples of new sustainable office products. EnviroCitizen.org not only gives a list of retailers for green office products, but also catalogs a huge selection of green contractors. This will transform any residence into a truly green home.

Four Ideas for Eco Friendly Promotional Products
September 9, 2010 by admin
When it comes to personalized corporate gifts, trade show giveaways and other promotion products, green is in. Ecological awareness is at an all time high. For businesses, taking the green approach can be intimidating, so in this article we’ll explore practical ways to use eco friendly promotional products. Companies often fear that these will be expensive, or they’ll only be a limited selection of these kinds of products available, but if you make smart choices you won’t just promote your business through the giveaway product itself, but through the decision itself. Eco friendly promotional products mark your firm as a conscientious, well-managed organization that clients want to make contact with. Here are five product ideas to get you started.
Biodegradable Plastic Trade Show Giveaways
“Plastic” and “environmentally friendly” used to be impossible things to reconcile, but modern biodegradable plastics mean that you can get virtually any traditional plastic promotional product in eco-friendly form. That includes imprinted tote bags, pens and cups. In these cases, your main challenge is to make people aware that the product is biodegradable and thus, environmentally friendly. If you’re manning a booth for trade show giveaways, mention the nature of the product every time you give it to someone, and use labels and accompanying flyers to put the message front and center.
Recycled Plastic Eco Friendly Promotional Products
Recycled plastic is a terrific choice for corporate gifts and trade show giveaways. First of all, suppliers can pass on low costs to you, because now that every city has a recycling infrastructure in place recycled plastic is an inexpensive material. Furthermore, the recycling symbol is well-known, so there’s no confusion about the environmental impact of your imprinted mug, cup or other promotional product.
Eco Friendly Promotional Products Made of Paper
Paper is one of the best-known eco friendly promotional product materials. Everyone knows it biodegrades easily, recycles and is made of natural material. Furthermore, paper’s come a long away as an industrial material, with companies like Promos Canada even offering pens largely made of recycled paper and wood. Furthermore, sturdy bags made of paper are always an excellent choice for trade show “goodie bags.” Even if you’re competing with dozens of other companies with their own trade show giveaways, visitors will use your bag to carry it all, and your brand will be more visible.
Imprinted Tote Bags and Reusable Shopping Bags
One of the hot issues in environmentalism right now is plastic shopping bags. Cities are finding them increasingly difficult to dispose, and they’re one of the last major non-recyclable waste sources in many communities. Cities like Toronto, Ontario, Canada are not levying surcharges on every plastic grocery bag, and other cities are doing away with them completely. The solution: Your imprinted tote bag. The tote bag has evolved from a generic convenience to a necessity to those looking to avoid plastic bags. Furthermore, you can buy bags such as the Enviro-Tote™ that are eco-friendly promotional products no matter how you use them.
