what is the most fuel efficient car ever produced for the u.s market in say the last 20-30 years and dont say the prius, smart, or electric car.

Will it ever be possible to have large vehicles that run on an alternative fuel?

To keep our economy strong we will need an alternative fuel that will fuel Tractor Trailers… Is it possible?

Are the major car companies ever going to provide a decent Hybrid/Electric car?

Or is it going to be Saturn electric car all over again?

The technology is available to easily provide 100mpg, yet we are still stuck with the Prius.

One of the things sports car enthusiasts love about their rides is the loud, throaty engine sounds. Electric cars are usually really quiet. Would sports car lovers ever accept a quiet, electric sports car?
Yes I know about all of that. But I always see someone remark on an engine’s sound. It seems to be a very important factor in judging a sports car. Suppose we can get electrics on the road and operating cost is no different from gas, do you think a quiet sports car will catch on?

Will any american car companies ever make fuel efficient muscle cars?

Do you think that the old coke bottle styling from the past will ever be remodeled into new fuel efficient cars. Like fuel efficient cars that look like the old camaro, gto and charger?
