This year’s Chicago Auto Show featured a wide array of fantastic new cars. With the pounding that the automotive industry took over the course of 2009, it was key for a lot of manufacturers to unveil some of their most innovative vehicles to date in order to continue as major players in the auto arena. Some of the most intriguing unveilings revolved around cars that featured outstanding and unprecedented fuel efficiency, while others boasted a happy medium between fuel efficiency and power. I’m a sedan type of guy, so I had my eye out for some of the coming years’ best sedan designs, and the manufacturer that caught my eye this year was Hyundai. Indianapolis Hyundai dealers are about to get a breath of fresh air in a market that has been giving the prize to cars with the best fuel economy.

I’m of course talking about the brand new unreleased 2011 Hyundai Azera, a sedan that features a range of styling and technical updates that will help set the vehicle off as one of the most intriguing buys of the coming year. Indianapolis Hyundai dealers are most excited about the engine updates included with the new Azera model, like a 3.3-liter Lambda V6 that pumps 260 horsepower and 233 pound-feet of torque and a 3.8-liter V6 with 283 horsepower and 263 pound-feet of torque. The new engine options will make the new Azera one of the most powerful vehicles in its class – a fact that should extend the 2011 model’s usefulness to Indianapolis used Hyundai dealers over the coming years.

The Azera comes standard with a variable intake system (VIS), a feature that contributes to outstanding pick-up and great passing performance. Utilized on both the intake and exhaust sides, the car gets an impressive 20 miles per gallon in city driving and 28 miles per gallon on the highway with the Lambda and 19 miles per gallon in city and 27 miles per gallon on the highway for the 3.8-liter V6. In an industry that has moved so much focus to the fuel efficiency side of things, the engine updates are crucial for drivers that enjoy a powerful ride while using as little fuel as possible. Indianapolis Hyundai dealers are impressed with the functionality of the new Azera which will set the vehicle off from the competition and help Hyundai reestablish credibility in a shaky market.

A six-speed automatic transmission as a standard is another huge factor driving the Azera’s new reputation. By improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions, the six-speed automatic becomes a key feature for this year’s model. This new gearbox is both smaller and lighter than competitors on the market and was developed over a four-year period in partnership with Kia Motors. The new gearbox is a good reason why we expect to see the Azera featured at Indianapolis used Hyundai dealers for years to come.

Style-wise, the new Azera will have a much more premium, modern look thanks in part to subtle exterior changes like a revised front fascia with a new front grille, headlights and bumper. For more on design, check out the Hyundai website.

Wheeler Dealers Land Rover Range Rover part 3

Requested by rekozajebi2. Info from Wiki, optional specs are in bottom. The first generation Range Rover was introduced in 1970. Improvements compared to the Land Rover “Series” models included permanent four-wheel-drive with a lockable centre differential, all-coil suspension, disc brakes on all wheels, and a 3.5 L aluminium Rover V8 engine. The vehicle was built on a steel ladder frame, and most body panels were aluminium. However, design weaknesses, such as using steel bolts to fasten aluminium panels and poor anti-corrosion protection of the chassis, resulted in early vehicles suffering from electrolytic corrosion. Whilst in a car with a shorter expected lifespan this may have been of minor importance, in a strong, long-lived vehicle like the Range Rover (which runs well even after 20 years old) it needed to be corrected, by means such as Waxoyling the chassis and using stainless steel bolts. The original Rover 3.5-litre engine gave the original so much power and torque that it was popular with the police. Later upgrades enlarged the capacity to 3.9 litres and culminated in the 4.2-litre V8 block in the 1992-95 model. When people began to demand better fuel economy, Land Rover introduced a diesel. Originally, the Turbo D model used a 2.4-litre turbodiesel 4 cylinder engine from Italian manufacturer VM Motori, similar to their engine fitted to the Rover SD1 and later 800-series cars, but this had been intended to be a smooth petrol-like engine for cars, not off-roaders

Hyundai Dealers In Indianapolis Ready For New Fuel Efficient Engine, Standard With Future Model Theta

October 8, 2010 by

It seems like money has been spread thin these days, and the same feeling rings true across the automotive industry. But automakers have to do something to heat up sales, and you have to spend money to make it. That is why manufacturers across the board are pouring money into the development of new, cutting-edge engine technologies. Consumer and business focus has shifted towards the new generation of driving, including smaller model vehicles and models that employ hybrid technology.

While the developments seem to be rolling in slower than consumer demand for higher quality, more affordable and more fuel efficient models, the industry has shown a consistent response to the changing dynamic. Hyundai is trying to break its way to the forefront of the engine technology revolution. You’ll still find the same quality Hyundai vehicles at your Indianapolis used Hyundai dealership, but pretty soon drivers will have a chance to leverage unmatched engine technology as part of the new Hyundai platform.

Over the past few years, Hyundai has been in the process of developing its Theta II gasoline direct-injection 2.4-liter engine, offering advanced powertrain technology to achieve a higher fuel rating. When the new engine hits the market, Indianapolis used Hyundai dealerships will feature all but obsolete vehicles. The new engine was developed over a 46 month long period, running the manufacturer $145 million in costs. Regardless, the technology truly does stand as a new innovation in the face of your Indianapolis used car dealer.

This four-cylinder engine is state-of-the-art, combining gasoline direct injection technology, dual continuously variable valve timing and variable induction system technology to form a platform that will rival any other engine on the market. But you won’t find this new innovative engine at Indianapolis used Hyundai dealerships; in the next few years, you’ll have to head to a new car dealer to get a test-drive. The Theta II technology will make its debut in the new 2011 Hyundai Sonata, a car that builds on previous models found at your Indianapolis used car dealer to create a platform of dependability and low total cost of ownership.

For the 2011 Hyundai Sonata, drivers can take advantage of horsepower ranging from 198 to 200 (depending on your trim level choice) that rides on a fuel efficient platform, offering a segment-leading 35 miles per gallon. That’s some serious fuel efficiency – a number that, as of now, you won’t find by visiting your Indianapolis used Hyundai dealer. Six-speed automatic and six-speed manual transmissions are both available on the brand new Hyundai Sonata, offering area drivers the ultimate in flexibility. In the next several years, we should see Hyundai putting this new engine technology to work across its entire line of models.

The new Theta II technology is just another step in the quick progression the auto industry is making towards absolute fuel efficiency. Keep your eyes open over the coming months for more new innovations from manufacturers across the board, who are embracing the industry call for a completely eco-friendly drive.

Hyundai Dealers In Indianapolis Will Feature More Fuel-Efficient Santa Fe

By now, you might be tired of hearing about it, but I’ll tell you for a fact, you have to be glad it is happening. Of course, I’m talking about the automotive industry’s push towards better fuel economy to reduce its environmental footprint, help destroy America’s dependency on oil from foreign countries and lower the total cost of ownership as it depends on gas. These are all huge benefits, so it’s nearly impossible to say you don’t care. By now, you’ve probably also heard about Toyota’s role as a leader in cutting-edge technology. But it’s a New Year and time for new manufacturers to make a play in the fuel efficiency space.

The reform movement in engine technology is a long time in coming. I’ve been keeping abreast of the latest developments because I’m a pretty big advocate for green living. Businesses and individuals have a responsibility to our environment, and through that social responsibility comes a lot of added perks associated with efficiency. Prior to really dedicating myself to the eco-movement, I was a huge fan of large vehicles. That’s why the dawn of the crossover was such a great compromise for me; I could leverage the power, strength and style of SUVs everywhere and still end up with a car that doesn’t hog the road and plays to a lot more strengths in efficiency.

Hyundai dealers in Indianapolis are about to get a huge push in the form of the upgraded 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe, a vehicle that has been available at Indianapolis Hyundai cars dealers for awhile now but was “officially” unveiled at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit this month. While the new model features a mildly updated platform in comparison to last year’s, some of the upgrades are pretty fun, while other serve a heavy purpose. New features include XM NavTraffic for real time traffic updates, standard touch-screen navigation on all models, optional rear view cameras and an “Eco-Indicator” light to make sure you’re driving as efficiently as possible.

But that’s not all of the great benefits and upgrades your Hyundai dealers in Indianapolis are featuring as part of the 2010 Santa Fe. New powertrains offer big improvements in fuel efficiency. The base model comes standard with a 2.4-liter DOHC Theta II inline four cylinder engine that puts out 175 horsepower, while an optional 3.5-liter Lambda II engine pumps 276 horsepower. The mileage figures have been upped 20 miles per gallon in city driving and between 26 and 28 miles per gallon on the highway. You’ll find great crossover efficiency when you visit your Indianapolis Hyundai cars dealership this year.

Your Indianapolis used car dealer has a lot going for it, but if you’re looking for true fuel efficiency you’ll want to buy new. Mild exterior design changes help make the new Santa Fe much more aesthetically pleasing in addition to its technology changes. In a couple of years, the 2010 Santa Fe should be a hot item at your Indianapolis used car dealer.

Hybrid Car Dealers

July 23, 2010 by

Looking for hybrid car dealers? In this article I cover the topic in the following sections. First, I discuss how hybrid car buying works. Second, I talk about hybrid car brands. Next, I talk about online car purchasing deals. Lastly, I talk about buying hybrid cars through classified advertisements and your local car dealer.

Introduction

As more people are becoming open to the technology of hybrid and as more consumers actually buy such kind of cars, the more people are also being curious on how they can buy these cars. Although it may seem to b a new technology, finding cars like these isn’t really that hard to do. In fact, unknown to many, a lot of hybrid dealers are out there, just waiting to be asked for whatever car they have to offer.

How The Deal Works

In reality, buying this kind of vehicle is just the same as buying a regular car. Hence, there’s really no problem on where you should go or find deals; simply because they’re everywhere! Considering the popularity of hybrids nowadays, you wouldn’t have problems in spotting such kind of deals. So, here are some tips on where and how you could find different dealers that can suffice your hybrid needs.

It’s A New Thing

One thing that you should realize when hunting for a good environmental friendly car is that such kinds of models are relatively new. Hence, they could only be bought from stores that sell them first hand. It would be quite impossible or rather extremely rare for you to find them in stores that sell second hand vehicles. It would also be rare to find someone selling his/her second hand hybrid.

Nevertheless, the good thing is that new dealers are starting to stock them even more each day. This is especially true, since more people are now getting more curious about these vehicles and finding hybrid car dealers.

Starting With A Brand

Before heading out to look for dealers, it is recommended that you have a car brand in mind. In this way it would be easier to spot deals that are relevant to what you are looking for.

If you’re starting with a brand, there’s really not much to worry about since almost all manufacturers, such as, Toyota, Chevrolet, Nissan, BMW and Ford are all in this kind of industry already. In fact, such companies are getting more pressured each day to produce the best hybrid they can create due to the incessant need for alternatives to expensive fuel.

Searching For Hybrid Car Dealers Online

For starters, the Internet would be a pretty good place to start your search for various car deals. This would be highly recommended if you think you’re not up to getting sales talked yet by a car salesman. Additionally, this method would also be helpful in letting you know more first about the features that the vehicle you are eyeing for has.

Nowadays, car deals are very rampant in cyberspace. It is possible for you to find different Web sites on the Internet that has various offers for hybrid cars. In fact, you could even get different quotations for various dealers. However, you should understand that the key to getting a good deal online is by having good research skills.

Try your best to get to know more info on the car that you want. You could also compare and contrast vehicles that different manufacturers offer. It would also be helpful if you read reviews online, both by experts and consumers to get more realistic feedback with your research. Once you feel that you are well-informed and ready to face a salesman, all you have to do is contact the Web site that you are interested on inquiring with.

Explore Your Newspapers’ Classified Ads

One classic way of looking for hybrid car sellers would be your local paper’s classified ads. There are companies that advertise on papers and if they’re on your locality, then it would really be easy to drop by for a visit. However, you should be wary that you shouldn’t look on the second hand section of the ads, since as said earlier, most hybrids are not yet available in that kind of market.

Try Your Local Stores

If you’re looking for first hand experience, then you should try to observe your locality and see where you could find stores that sell cars. You could go directly to the manufacturer’s shop, if there’s any in your place or buy from hybrid dealers. Don’t hesitate to ask them if they have any promos or special offers, especially for hybrid vehicles.

John S. Rhodes talks more about hybrid car dealers at Hybrid Cars, Hybrid Trucks and Hybrid Vans found at http://HybridCarsTrucksVans.com He also discusses hybrid motorcycles and hybrid minivans at that site, offering videos and advice on hybrid batteries and hybrid rental vehicles.
