I’m thinking about buying a new car. Is a hybrid car worth it?

I’ve heard that you need to replace the battery in hybrids every 3 or 4 years, which defeat the purpose of saving money on the gas because they’re so expensive. I’ve tried looking this up online and I read anywhere from 3 to 9 years. I wouldn’t mind replacing it after 6 or 7 years, but 3 is unexceptable. Does anyone know a cheaper but quality hybrid car? I’m really liking the Honda Civic Hybrid, but I don’t know many others. Any suggestions and/or advice? Thanks!

I have a 98 Dodge Dakota pickup, V6, stick. It’s a damn good truck but it only gets 20mpg. I’ll be relocating to Chicago soon and I need something that costs less to run, MUCH less and easier to parallel park. I totally suck at parallel parking.

I would like something that’s no more than 3-5yrs old, dual-fuel, preferably gas-electric and low maintenance. Also I’d like a make/model with folding rear seats and a rear door, instead of a trunk for more payload.

Miles per gallon with a plane vs miles per gallon in a car.?

Let’s assume I own my own twin engine plane. With the cost of auto gas being pretty close to aviation fuel is it cheaper to fly or drive. What kind of miles per gallon do most twin engine planes get?
I think you guys are misunderstanding my question. Lets say for the sake of argument I live in Miami, and I want to go home to visit my parents in Seattle. I own my own twin engline plane. Would it be cheaper to drive to my parents and pay for gas, hotel, meals, over a few days or would it be cheaper to take my plane and fly to my parents and pay for aviation fuel? Also consider I would save money on meals and hotels. Does that make more sense?

I bought green LED lights for my car. I live in colorado but I read somewhere that they are illegal. Why?

So I installed my green LED lights today, and I drove with them on along with my normal head lights. My friend told me only red and blue lights are illegal in the state of Colorado, for obvious reasons. I’ve been trying to find laws about it and I found one link that said green lights are illegal on the front of your car. Can anyone verify this for me? There were a pain to put in and it would be nice if I didn’t have to take them off. (haha) thanks for the help :)
