If I can create a vehicle that runs on water using a built in hydrogen generator why can’t the smart guys doit?

Hydrogen is the easiest fuel on earth. A car can produce more energy than it uses by simply adding 20 amps of 12 volt battery voltage to water and create enough fuel to run a 20 gallon tank of water from coast to coast. If I can do it, why can’t GM, Ford, Chrysler? It’s because OPEC will pay any price to prevent our dependency. OPEC is the biggest drug dealer on Earth.

Why can’t we make an eco friendly car that looks like an actual car?

Have you ever noticed how all of the eco friendly (i mean really eco friendly) cars look like pea pods? or space ships? or something that doesn’t look like anything in the natural world? Why can’t we make a totally eco friendly car, like a hydrogen car, electric car, or the new car that runs on air, to LOOK like a normal car?

SOME MORE INPUT: All of these extra tiny cars are NOT good! They are deathtraps! Unless you’re driving them in the big city, and even then, you can get crushed by any given car. I love the SMART car, I think they’re cute, but that’s as far as it goes. Cuteness.

*for anyone wondering about the car that runs on air, this is what spurred on this question, and I found the article on Yahoo!’s homepage.

Why can’t we use nuclear power to generate Hydrogen for vehicle fuel?

Hydrogen is so expensive to produce. How about a remote location for splitting Hydrogen, and Oxygen, powered by the waste from a nuclear-electric generating plant?

Who can’t wait for the hydrogen car?

I wish there were here right now. All politics aside, I hate that as a country we are so dependent on a single resource, oil. Especially when most of our supply comes from politically unstable countries. Honda has a hydrogen concept car out right now, but it’s only in Cali.
So when hydrogen cars are made available to the public, will you buy one? I will! Sign me up!!!!
