Key points in the video: First 30 seconds : The rise of oil prices. Next minute – an overview of the electric Megane. Race between 2 Meganes – the petrol one ( yellow plateau ) vs. the electric ( read plateau ). The dream of Agassi – to heal us from the oil addiction. 01:30-02:00 A short story of Agassi: Technion ( university ) , CEO in SAP company and the forum in Davos that changed his life. 02:00-02:30 Meeting with Shimon Peres ( now our President ) – Peres convinced him to abandon his work and concentrate on the Project Better Place. 03:00-04:00 A very brief history – oil displaced electricity, the main problem was batteries. The failure of the electric car and Bob Lutz is described as the killer of EV1. But Agassi says – Bob Lutz told him a couple of weeks age that EV is THE future of cars. 04:10 – The Agassi’s business model: 3 players needed: 1. The manufacturer of EV cars 2. The producer of batteries 3. Nationalwide infrastructure of recharging points. Since the battery range is limited to 200 km – In couple of minutes the battery is replaced at service points. 05:10 – Cost of driving such a car 1/3 to 1/2 of a regular one because of the cheap electricity. 05:40 Agassi insists that a major car manufacturer is required. Agassi gets a moral support from any Israel minister incl. PM but no money. For the infrastructure he drafts 200M $ from Idan Ofer (06:00) – Ofer family controls our oil refinery business ! Agassi’s explanation to that phenomenon – oil is a source …

Better Fuel Ratings in the 2010 Ford Mustang 4.6 Liter Engine

The Ford Mustang has been a staple of the American automotive industry for over a decade. In 2010, Ford brings a fresh face to the Mustang line. New engine options compliment this fresh face nicely. It is now easy to have fun and be responsible. Good fuel economy and serious power ensure that everyone can enjoy the 2010 Ford Mustang.
The first engine option is the 4.0L V6. This engine is rated at 210 horsepower and 240 ft lb of torque. It has received an EPA rating of 18 miles per gallon for crazy city traffic, and a conservative 26 miles per gallon while driving on the highway. The power to economy ratio is very good with this engine. It has enough power to move quickly, but saves enough fuel to ensure you get there. This engine is available on the Mustang base model, and the Mustang base model convertible.
The next engine is the 4.6L V8. This engine takes inspiration from the Ford V8s of the past. This engine has a proven track record of reliability and performance. It receives ratings of 315 horsepower and 325 ft lb of torque. A driver of a car with this engine can expect 16 miles per gallon in the city, and 24 miles per gallon on the highway. These numbers are not much lower than the 4.0L model, but this engine’s power is substantially higher. This engine is perfect for someone who wants a very high level of performance, but still desires a high fuel economy rating.
Both of these engines were available on the 2009 Ford Mustang. However, they have been improved slightly. They now offer improved fuel economy, as well as higher power ratings. The new engines also use an electronic valve controller to ensure that the driver receives the very best fuel economy.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: As of 26 January 2010, the Vancouver Gadgeteers amateur inventors club will no longer be selling its Adams motors, e-books/e-guides, DIY plans, hydroxy devices, pulsers, components, or consulting services due to the personal risks and ‘inconveniences’ and perceived threat level as well as the lack of support from the public, generally speaking. While it has been an interesting, and at times, exciting area of tinkering, the bottom line is that the trouble just wasn’t worth it. 5.6 Liter Eight Cylinder Engine Produces Better Fuel Efficiency For The Pathfinder

The Nissan Pathfinder is a mid-size sports utility vehicle which is sold and manufactured by Nissan. The Pathfinder has been in production since 1986 and is a very well selling SUV. The Nissan Pathfinder comes with two different engine options, each of which result in different fuel efficiency. The general public should prefer having a few choices.
The first engine option for the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder is a 4.0 liter six cylinder engine which produces about 266 horsepower. This engine option comes standard in the SE and LE trims and is automatically matched with an automatic transmission. With the four cylinder engine and automatic transmission, the Pathfinder gets and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimated 15 miles per gallon in the city and 22 miles per gallon on the highway.
The second engine option for the new Pathfinder is a 5.6 liter eight cylinder engine which produces and impressive 310 horsepower. While horsepower improves with the V8 engine, overall fuel efficiency decreases. With the V8 engine option the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder gets an EPA estimated 13 miles per gallon in the city and 18 miles per gallon on the highway. By opting to upgrade the Pathfinder to the eight cylinder engine, a typical driver will spend approximately 33% more on fuel throughout one year than someone who has the six cylinder engine. Depending on how much someone drives, this additional cost could be significant.
The Pathfinder also can come with four wheel drive. If the Pathfinder driver switches to four wheel drive, their fuel efficiency will fall off about 5% for both city driving and highway driving.
