Has anyone installed a hydrogen generator on your car or truck?

I installed one on my 2000 Buick Century last week. My gasoline mileage has increased by 20%. Hydrogen is seperated from water and routed into the air intake, causing the gasoline to burn more efficiently. I will probably install one also on my 2005 Mercedes E320.

Does anyone know of any gov’t grants for people who are tranforming a gas powered car to hydrogen?

Me and a close friend of mine are going to try to transform a gas powered van we are getting from him father into a hydrogen powered vehicle. And since we’re not exactly the richest people out there we were wondering if anyone knew of gov’t grants that would help us in this project for alternate fuel sources.

Any help is much appreciated, Morgan

I am in the UK and I am building a hydrogen generator to fit in my car.

A/ Do you have or know anyone who has one?

B/ What sort of extra Gas milage increase are you getting?

C/ Did you build or buy it?

D/ If you bought it, where from?

I have heard claims of anywhere between 25 to 50% increase in gas milage
(We call it petrol, but same thing)

I think you answer the wrong question
I never mentioned generating hydrogen for the home
But this can be done using solar panel
Hydrogen is generated by the car not the national grid and the car emissions are almost zero
I suggest you do your homework you will be amazed
Or do you work for an oil company
Sugarbear
I have built a far more efficient device than the one you descibe using stainless steel plates in a SS container and using ley (caustic soda here in the UK) and I only need a tiny pinch as the electrolizer.

by using about 7 amps (less than the headlights) I produce 1 litre of hydrogen/oygen mix in about two minutes
Mike Mike Mike….
Just checked your profile you actually are working with the Egyptions to get their economy right
You are working for an oil producing country and trying to tell everyone that oil is good and everything else is bad
I guessed you right the first time, you do work for an oil company

I can see what you are trying to say but that is a little like stating that the second law of thermo dynamics stipulates that if you strike a match and aply it to 10 gallon of gasoline that I will get less energy out of the gas than that required to strike the match

Dosn’t quite equate when you say it like that does it?

Hey, does anyone know where I could buy a new eco-friendly bedroom set for no more than $500.00?

I’m looking for one in an asian style or antique european. I have very little money and I can’t be driving to people’s homes to look at furniture being sold in the newspaper because I don’t have a car… but I desperately need to get my home and life organized and so I need furniture to do that. I can’t have goodwill bring anything in because the last time I tried that they were so astonished by my home; my mom is a pack-rat… and I am not going through that again! Lastly, I would just really prefer it to be eco-friendly because I care about the environment and I have also read that eco-friendly furniture is better for your health. Please help… Thank you!

Does anyone know where I can advertise my “GREEN” energy product online?

I am a marketing consultant with a energy company that has a Certified Green Plan provides electricity service that’s Green-e certified to reduce the environmental impact of the energy you use. This product is available in Texas and New York.

I really want to advertise on the internet where I can spread the word on our renewable energy product. The environment is so important to me and our company and I just want to get the word out on how people can contribute in a small way to help save our planet.

Does anyone know of a good eco-friendly laundry detergent?

I’ve been using Tide for years and it has always worked really well. However, I know that it’s not biodegradable (okay the packaging says it is BUT in reality it takes 5 years for Tide to completly biodegrade) and I really don’t feel good about polluting the water so I can have clean clothes. Any suggestions on eco-friendly laundry detergents that work well? Thanks!

Has anyone seen the Hydrogen Vehicle commercial? Do you realize how silly it is?

There was a commercial on about a hydrogen vehicle touting how the exhaust is just water with a bunch of kids saying H2O.

Reality Check – Hydrogen is an energy vector, not source. This means that basically the hydrogen is not taken out of the ground, it is made through electrolysis of water which is done by using fossil fuels. Basically you are still using fossil fuels and polluting, its just not coming out of your tailpipe.

It seems to me they are trying to suck in the less informed that they are essentially not polluting or contributing to “global warming” in some way by using hydrogen cause only water comes out of the tailpipe. What do you think?

Basically I think Hydrogen is pointless . . .
