JOLT!: The Impending Dominance Of The Electric Car And Why America Must Take Charge
Fasten your seatbelts, America. The electric vehicle is about to take us on one heck of a ride. So states James Billmaier in his groundbreaking book on the impending electric vehicle (EV) revolution. He argues that in addition to being a blast to drive, EVs will come to dominate the personal auto market in the coming years because they are cheaper to run and cheaper to maintain. Adopting EVs will also allow America to put the brakes on sending hundreds of billions of dollars a year to OPEC, helping us achieve energy independence within a decade.
But that’s only part of the story. Billmaier outlines how EVs will propel the coming “electriconomy,” a consumer-driven economic boom that will be ignited as our society is transformed from an oil-based economy to one powered by electricity. The electriconomy will dwarf all previous technology revolutions—it will be bigger than the computer and Internet markets combined—and will catapult the economy of whichever nation masters it. It’s a race we need to win for reasons of national and economic security, Billmaier says, but we need to move fast. China is determined to own the EV space itself, an outcome that would be as detrimental to U.S. national security as our current dependence on foreign oil is today. In these pages, he describes what we need to do to win the EV race—what America must do to take charge!

Sustainable Development: The Wrenching Transformation of America
- A reolution is taking place in America…
- It’s anti-property rights; it’s anti-free enterprise;
- It’s anti-national sovereignty & national borders;
- It’s anti-Western culture; it’s the blueprint for enacting the UN’s Agenda 21 Treaty;
- It’s called Sustainable Development and it’s the enemy of all who love American liberty
In this amazing presentation, Tom DeWeese tells an overflow audience in Santa Cruz, Californina, of the threat that is tearing apart their community. Santa Cruz is the first city in the nation to be fully controlled by Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development. See how it destroys property values. See how it destroys schools. See how it destroys local economies. See how it is connected directly to United Nations treaties.

Exploring The Antique Automobile Club Of America
October 13, 2010 by admin
Filed under Electric Cars
With members in all 50 states and more than 50 countries around the world, the Antique Automobile Club of America is one of the largest and most prestigious organizations of its kind on the planet. Since its inception in 1935 with only about 14 members, the club has grown to boast 400 regional and localized chapters throughout the world.
The AACA dedicates itself to celebrating and preserving the pioneering days of automobile history. Although it focuses primarily on antique cars from the golden era of motoring, the club does define its scope in a much broader sense. It technically represents all vehicles that are self-propelled and meant for passenger use. This means it also welcomes club members with an interest in race vehicles, cars, trucks, motorcycles, powered bicycles and even fire trucks. In addition, it sets no real boundaries on the type of propulsion used in an antique vehicle. It welcomes vehicles powered not only by gasoline, but also steam, electric and diesel.
Headquartered in Hershey, Pennsylvania, the Antique Automobile Club of America was formed when a group of men came together to share their passion for vintage vehicles. The first real meeting was held in 1935 in Philadelphia. The club grew modestly at first, boasting 1,400 members by 1949. It took off in leaps bounds, however, over the next few decades. By 1985, it had more than 50,000 members worldwide. Membership today runs in the tens of thousands and includes people from all over the globe with a shared passion for antique automobiles.
Members of the AACA do not have to actually own vehicles to join. The club even welcomes junior members, who are youngsters up to age 12. Older children are also invited to join, as are adults regardless of their status as antique vehicle owners.
While one of the primary focuses of the AACA is to keep history alive through its library and museum, the club also offers members a number of related benefits. Members can take part in such things as:
Meets – These are held in a variety of categories throughout the year and are often hosted by regional or localized chapters. Requirements for entry can vary based on the focus of the specific meets. Tours – These are meant to enable owners to show off their classic cars along with other owners. The club plays host to a variety of tours, many of which are restricted to vehicles produced during very specific time periods. Some tours, however, are open to all non-racing vehicles that are at least 25 years of age and older. Forums – The AACA maintains a forum for its members that help create a sense of community among antique vehicle owners and enthusiasts. Meetings – While local and regional clubs do host their own meetings, the biggest gathering each year is the annual meeting in Philadelphia. This event features conferences and workshops designed to educate members about the history of automobiles, proper restoration practices and more.
Classic and vintage car lovers looking for a welcoming home to share their passion often discover the Antique Automobile Club of America is right up their alley. To find out more about this international organization, visit www.aaca.org.

Antique Automobile Club of America

The idea of forming the Antique Automobile Club of America was conceived way back in the 1930s by a few men who, after attending the fourth Antique Automobile Derby, thought it would be a good idea to get the participants of the previous year’s Derby to form a club. They got the names and addresses of the participants from the Derbies promoter, Mr Jack Dlugash, and proceeded to inform them of their intentions in a letter which was written on September 20, 1985. Their invitation got a favorable response and the first meeting was held on November 4 the same year in the Automobile Club of Philadelphia’s auditorium. In attendance were the 14 members who founded the club and one of them came with his wife. Thus the Antique Automobile Club of America was formed.
The club’s constitution was drawn up in 1936 and offers the guidelines and by- laws which govern the operation of the club. Mr. Frank Abramson became the first president of the club. In 1939, Mr. Herbert van Haagen who came from Upper Darby, PA, designed the club’s emblem. For months, he painstakingly designed the emblem, producing the original masterpiece. The club also published its first magazine, Bulletin of the Antique Mobile, in 1937. The first editor chosen by the people was Theodore Fiala. In January 1943, the magazine changed its name to Antique Automobile. The magazine continued to prosper and club membership grew.
One of the activities of the club was to engage in car competitions. At first, the criteria was simply determining whether the antique cars could run but as more and more cars entered the competition, a more comprehensive classification and selection criteria was developed. This hobby remains a regular event of the club, which also offers non-competitive events. All activities linked to the hobby are sponsored. The club has steadily grown through the years, with its leaders registering outstanding achievements. Several Regions and chapters have also grown, starting from the Illinois region, there are at least 400 regions and chapters today. For this reason, AACA boasts of being one of the largest automobile clubs worldwide.
The purpose of AACA is to preserve antique automobiles and their history as well as further an interest in them. It aims to continue with the automobile pioneer days, encourage sportsmanship and good comradeship among its members. Those with mutual interest in antique automobiles find a home with AACA. The term automobile is used by AACA to refer to cars, trucks, race and fire vehicles, motorcycles among others. It also refers to the sources of power such as gas, steam, electric and diesel. While the public is encouraged to follow the AACA activities, only the members can directly participate in them. The AACA boasts of international membership with members drawn from all states and a further 50 nations or more worldwide. It holds annual meetings every February in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which serve as educative forums for those who are interested in antique automobiles.
