category: Hybrid Cars
What Edmunds.com says The 2009 Nissan Altima Hybrid is an excellent choice for drivers who want a little fun between point A and point B. Too bad it’s only sold in the eight states that have adopted California’s emissions standards. Pros Excellent fuel economy, sporty handling, precise steering, top-notch interior materials, high crash test scores. Cons Can only be obtained in eight states, options are only offered in expensive packages, so-so backseat comfort. What’s New for 2009 The 2009 Nissan Altima Hybrid remains unchanged from the previous year, except for standard automatic door locks and four more exterior color choices. 2009 Nissan Altima Hybrid Vehicle Overview Introduction Hybrids and other green cars, though known for being economical and earth-friendly, have a reputation for also being rather slow, odd-looking and uninspiring behind the wheel. 450-500 miles per 20 gallon tank is what I get on my nonhybryd Altima. The hybrid should get 600+,of course it all depends on how its driven
Hey its a nice altima for a person who wants to save, she said 400 miles but mine gives me about 550 miles per tank, with 140 hp gas and 40 hp electric motor working together, so about? 180 hp for an altima that gives you around 550 miles per tank, id say thats not the best but not the worst….
Oh, westcoast people are so silly.

So sad to see that she doesn’t know how to use a seatbelt.
Altimas are shit. Shit., shit, shit.
hehe I actually laughed.
Can’t blame her for putting effort though.
“first hybrid that drives like a nissan”? not all nissans are gtr’s and 370zs. my mom has a nissan altima regular, and she averages about 400 miles, and it drives like shit. absolute shit.
i can’t imagine that adding about 300 lbs of batteries would improve the driving dynamics.
