Mr Butler have never sounded better than of this song. A bittersweet anthem that sure fits his characteristic voice.
    Hauntingly beautiful…

Hadn’t even thought of The Furs in years and stumbled upon this solo effort. Every song is a stand out. He’s at the top of his form, and even transcendent at time!
    This is a lovely track!!

I just bought his solo CD and its awesome!! This song in particular is great, second song on CD. I just found this video here and it completes what already is a great song. Thanks for posting and thanks Richard for fighting the fight and giving us more!

One of the best voices in rock so why no iconic songs? I include ‘Pretty in Pink’ which was eighties ear candy. I’m into his way like a train but I want more heaven to sort out the ghosts in me. He should sing for the Twang or The Enemy.

If only Richard would commit himself to songs that stand up on their own, (instead of bland stuff that depends upon his voice to give it something special)then he could really send shivers up and down our spines! Maybe he needs to be a bit angry (Pesident Gas). thi song just gives a hint of what he’s capable of.
