Back to the future for Bideford students
IT’S not just back to school for students in Bideford tomorrow (Thursday), but back to a new school. Just over 1,600 young people will begin lessons in the ground-breaking environment that is the new £54 million Bideford College in Abbotsham Road.

The Kentucky Geologic Survey launched: ” Kentucky Coal Infrastructure on August 25. It’s “An interactive map (powered by ArcGIS Server) that provides coal infrastructure data for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.” It says that in the source code.

On the launch of a new World Bank report today (8 September 2010) in which the Bank explicitly identifies biofuels as one of the driving forces of land grabs in Africa and acknowledges its detrimental impact on local livelihoods, Friends of the Earth renews its call on rich countries to drop their biofuels targets and invest in planet-friendly farming.
