Ken Conca and Geoffrey D. Dabelko's GREEN PLANET BLUES, 4TH EDITION has been revised and updated throughout and examines global environmental politics from different perspectives, from classic to activist terms. Examples of sustainability and ecological justice are presented in a survey which has been updated to include fourteen new readings discussing globalization and environmental change, transnational activist networks, and more. College-level libraries strong in global environmental issues must have this reader.
Rating: 5 / 5

I had to get this book for one of my classes. We only read several passages, but the book has proved invaluable for other classes, not to mention general knowledge. It has excerpts of books by Garret Harding, Thomas Homer-Dixon, Alan Durning, The Brudtland Commission, just to name a few. An indispensable reference book for any student of environmental and sustainable development issues!
