1. Use biodegradable dish washing liquid- We all have dishes to wash, and using a biodegradable soap is eco friendly.

2. Use biodegradable laundry detergent- Using soaps that are eco friendly are an excellent way of going green. Soaps aren’t good for the ground so biodegradable soaps are the wise choice.

3. Use the power of steam- Steam cleaning does require the use of some electricity, however, the benefits of steam cleaning far out weighs this fact. Using steam is a great way to clean and disinfect without using harmful chemicals.

4. Use vinegar and water to clean windows- Using one part vinegar to two parts water in a spray bottle to clean windows is a great way to go green. This eliminates chemicals and leaves a streak free shine to windows. This is also an excellent area to recycle old newspapers. Newspapers can be used in place of paper towels for cleaning glass.
