I see a car like a gun, you take care of it, it takes care of you. Now if you bought an H-1 or buggati or somthin like that and worry about fuel economy then sell it your head is in the wrong spot.

Real fuel injector cleaning (off the car done by a professional) only costs $20/injector.
They do a REAL ultrasonic cleaning (several times actually), replace every seal and wearable part on the injector, and the flow test them all to make sure that they are all even distributing fuel.
Dude do you know how much that will cost you ???
Usually the cars start giving this kind of problems when they get old… like 6-8 years old, By the time your car will cost somewhere around 5-8$K.
And there is no reason to pay 2-3$K to make it more efficient… just keep driving it till it dies… wich will happened mey be after 3-5 more years of driving.
For that time you can improve your credit score and borrow some more money….to buy a nw car.
